Signs of the Season

Fall has come to the Peace Country and it is particularly noticeable at Moonshine Lake.  The hub of summer life, the Provincial Park is now quiet… almost too quiet.  There are still a few people camping, fishing or on the playground, but mostly the site is left to the deer, squirrels and rabbits.  The trails, sites and roads are serene and content to be covered with leaves.

If this is exactly why you love the Peace Country, enjoy the most beautiful season at Moonshine 🙂

  1. The colours are so beautiful this time of year. I bet the mosquitoes are gone too, or soon will be.

We were very lucky this year not to have many mosquitoes at all. It might have been that June cold snap that kept the numbers down. But yes, this warm fall makes up for our dry, dusty, summer with too many aphids!
