Bay Tree Hall is on the Move

Baytree Hall, community centre since 1932, will be making a short trip across the provincial border to a new home in Dawson Creek this September.  The historic building will be maintained as part of the Walter Wright Pioneer Village.  Read more about it here.

The Village is a great place to visit!  It is a whole town, set in the booming Alaska Highway days of Dawson Creek.  Visitors can take a boardwalk tour and breathe in the history inside the church, store, houses and garages, have a photo taken at the Victorian Photographer’s shop, sit in a vintage car or stroll through the rose garden.  Also be sure to see Sudetan Hall to learn all about their story.

Consider the Walter Wright Pioneer Village for a pleasant day trip this fall 🙂  The drive is a beautiful one in any season!
