Sunrise, Sunset

Times are a-changing.  Sunset, for example, seems to be in such a hurry these days.  In a hurry to get to bed, but not too bouncy in the morning!  Just giving the frost a chance to grow… but thank goodness the heat still percolates through to our bones during the daytime!

If you aren’t keeping track of each day’s 4.5 minutes of abandoned daylight each time the sun cycles, there is a way to pin down exactly when the sun will rise and set.  Say, for example, you want to know how long you’ve got to trick or treat, or what time the alarm should ring if you want to catch the sunrise on Saturday.  You can simply click the link to Sunrise and Sunset . com to work out your schedule.  This link goes directly to Spirit River sunsets and sunrises, but you can type in any location.

There, all set!  If you get one of those sunrise pictures, we’d love to post it here.  Everyone needs a little sunshine!   Just email  Thank you!

  1. This link would be especially important for duck hunters so they would know when it was legal shooting time.
