Famous… but Freezing? Not Just Yet

Spirit River, the freezing wilderness made famous by the tail of a dinosaur.  We’ve been coming across in the media as a chilly hinterland suffering from snowflakes and plagued by grizzlies (why doesn’t anyone mention cougars?  and cows?).

So, if you’re visiting from afar, or if you live here and have been down about the weather the last couple of days, here are some pictures of the real Spirit River area!  Remember, there are lots more in the archives, too 🙂

Got great pictures?  Or a bit of info that might make Spirit River famous?  We’d love to help you share a post, right here!  Just email townspirit@hotmail.com.  Will you do it?  We hope you will 🙂
