Spider Season

The signs of fall are mostly easy to spot: farm equipment on the move, leaves changing colour, cooler temperatures and geese scouting ripe crops.  But some of the seasonal happenings go largely unnoticed, for example the hatching of millions of tiny spiders.  And they are most noticeable for their artful creations.  Any morning, you can walk outside and discover one of nature’s many miracles, the elaborate webs decorated all over with dew (or rain).
