Strawberry Blite

Submitted

Yesterday’s post was about the usual wildflowers we see in Alberta, but CeeBee has this picture of Strawberry Blite, a showy plant not commonly seen in northern Alberta.  It was growing on the bank of the Burnt River.

Thanks, CeeBee!

  1. At first I thought it was a leaf disease spelled wrong, but it’s a plant I’d never heard of. I’ve never seen it either. It does look like wild strawberries. Very pretty plant.
