Beware the Ides of March

If you’re into politics at all, you might not want to visit the theatre today… Maybe Spirit River could hold a toga race instead?  Brrr!

OK, Spirit River isn’t exactly Rome, but there is a reason we should take note of the famous Ides (which basically means the middle, or the 15th of any month) of March.  By today, the Canada geese are on their way back up here!

Their travel plans vary a bit, but it should warm your toes to know that, somewhere down in Wisconsin, a Canada goose has checked his weather radar and decided that a warming trend is imminent.  Honk if you love Jack Bird’s Pond!

So, on the Ides of March – Beware that you don’t get too excited yet – know that spring is winging it’s way toward us!

  1. Good to hear that spring is on its way to the north. I hope it hits Vancouver Island on the way.
