The Marmot Magic Bus is now servicing the Grande Prairie area!
If you have ever thought it would be great to go skiing in the mountains for the day except for all that driving, you’ll be excited to know that the Marmot MagicBus will be running trips from Grande Prairie to Marmot Basin over Teacher’s Convention weekend and Spring Break. This season is the trial run: next year there will likely be more opportunities.
The trip is a package deal: round trip escorted, non-drinking non-smoking bus ride, lift ticket, park fees and taxes for $139. It’s even less for kids, seniors and students, who are the people who would benefit most from the deal.
Buses depart from Grande Prairie at 4:30 a.m. and arrive at Marmot at 9:45 a.m. (hopefully you can sleep enroute, but then again, you don’t have to worry about driving all the way home). Ski for hours, meet the bus at 4:30 p.m. and be back in GP by 10 p.m.
