Outdoor light displays are beginning to appear in Spirit River and surrounding communities. Homes, the museum and Chepi Sepe Park are all lit up in anticipation of the brightest event in our season of longer nights and shorter days. And we have some lovely snow to accent the coloured bulbs.
Another sign of the season is the Festival of Trees, on at the Centennial Hall November 29th 10 am to 8 pm and November 30th 10 am to 9 pm. Beautiful trees, Christmas Creations, wreaths, gingerbread houses, silent auction and music… you know what it’s all about. This year the sleigh rides start at the Hall as well, and that’s where you’ll find the hot dogs and hot chocolate too. So don’t forget!
