The Grande Prairie Museum’s week of hands on learning about our local culture and heritage is in full swing. For a very reasonable fee, the whole family can indulge in hours of old fashioned fun (well, what once was work is now fun 🙂 ).
Costumed interpreters will walk you through churning butter, making ice cream, gold panning and games. You can watch craftspeople at work and possibly catch fresh bread coming out of the oven. Regular exhibits will be open as well. Sounds like a week’s worth of pure summer enjoyment.
