For over 150 years, Fort Dunvegan has played host to traders travelling from afar with all sorts of good to trade. People have met, passed on the news, perused others’ goods, and bought or traded food, supplies and handcrafted items.
On Sunday August 5th, you can take part in the tradition! Head down to Dunvegan Park to take in the Fresh Air Market from 11 am to 5 pm. You’ll find handcrafted items from Peace Country creators, selling their goods in the fresh summer air with the ever lovely Dunvegan Valley for a backdrop.
While you are there, why not catch a tour? Costumed interpreters will take you through the three historic buildings. Regular admissions fees do apply.
