Pipestone Dino Quarter Now Available

Today is the release date for the Royal Canadian Mint’s newest groundbreaking quarter.  Not only does it feature Pachyrhinosaurus lakustai, the horned dinosaur of the Pipestone Creek bonebeds here in the Peace Country, this quarter glows in the dark.  The living, fleshy dinosaur becomes skeleton, the way we know Pachyrhinosaurus today.  No other coin can show you 12 million years flashing before your very eyes!

I got mine yesterday, thanks to the determined staff at the Post Office. The glow in the dark works really well and the painted dinosaur is elegant itself. I’m glad to have gotten hold of one, especially since I see there are many on eBay already at 4x the original price.
