More Meteors Over Alberta

Aha!  Town Spirit’s hopes were answered today with new, better footage of Tuesday’s meteor sent in to CTV news.  Check on their web site for the video.

Also, here’s a video from The Great Daylight 1972 Fireball, which passed over our province as well.  That one scraped along Earth’s atmosphere for less than two minutes, greatly reducing its size before speeding back into space.  It was quite a spectacle,  and one now famous because of Arthur C. Clarke’s reference to it in his book, The Hammer of God.
