Dunvegan Toboggan Slide

Did you know?  Back in 1970, when an application was made to the Supreme Court in Edmonton to reestablish the Fort Dunvegan Historical Society, land was purchased on the South side of the river, across from the campsite.  A ski hill and toboggan slide were considered for the future development of that land.  (From the Edmonton Journal, July 22, 1970, page 15)

Sounds like fun.  What happened to the South side plans?
