It’s fall again! Let’s have a poem…
The chickadees may still sing
But the geese are on the wing
They can feel the autumn zing
So much for their summer fling
Honk! Who’s watching the weather?
Honk! Stay in line!
Honk! Watch it, Tailfeathers!
Honk! Palm Beach is mine!
Goodbye, great symbolic goose
Hope you packed your summer things
We’ll stick by the mighty moose
Who can’t exactly spread his wings
Honk! Which way’s Calgary again?
Honk! My left wing is getting numb!
Honk! A thousand miles, and then…
Honk! California, here we come!
