The Spirit River Municipal Library Art Show and Sale is over for another year. If you couldn’t make it, here’s an idea of the local artists and their work that you missed:
Agnes is a Spirit River Artist with paintings in oil, acrylics and watercolour. Animals, birds and landscapes with mountains and forests are favourite subjects.

Vi hails from Silver Valley. She paints vibrant acrylics and watercolours covering a variety of subjects.
Ste Marie Grade Threes
Mrs. Sekulics grade three class painted colourful watercolour florals and donated the proceeds to Project Van-Go. Every painting sold!

Robb Brown grew up in Spirit River and returns to photograph Peace Country scenes. He also has photos of animals and scenes from his world travels.

Evelyn is a watercolourist. She spends six months in Spirit River every year and loves to paint local scenes.

Born and raised in Spirit River, Robyn knows many local beauty spots to photograph. She has captured candid shots of wildlife and specializes in photographing water.
Pleasant View Painters
Eight ladies from Pleasant View Lodge meet every Thursday to paint in watercolour. They have painted a variety of subjects, including bears and beavers!

Judy has lived in Spirit River just a little longer than she has been painting in watercolour. She finds inspiration in the peaceful landscapes and skies of our area.

Carolyn grew up in Spirit River and loves to explore the Peace Country as well as paint it. She is a watercolourist and is never without a camera.
Visitors enjoyed looking at the art and the artists enjoyed trading ideas.
The gym was filled with art and artists!
