Take an Alberta Break, Visit…

Everyone has seen the sky blue grain cars with those words blazoned in yellow across them.  Did you ever wonder whether Spirit River has a grain car?

In fact, there are two.  The Government of Alberta Heritage Fund did not forget us.  There’s a Spirit River car and an M.D. of Spirit River car travelling the tracks.  Has anyone seen the Spirit River cylinders?  Why not leave a comment here and tell us where!

The big yellow Heritage Fund Alberta logo looks like a 3D box with a map of Alberta on the left face, in yellow to represent grain.  The darker gold right face is supposed to represent oil money.  The top face looks like random yellow shards blowing away, which could be kernels of wheat.  But look carefully and you’ll see HF, for Heritage Fund, as a negative image between the shards.
